Patricia (Pat) A. Coats

Patricia (Pat) A. Coats, 99, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died August 25, 2019. She was born July 14, 1920 in Bouton, Iowa to John B. and Alice O'Malley. She married James H. Coats October 23, 1943. James preceded her in death October 31, 2011. After federal service during World War II, she devoted her time to raising her family. Pat and Jim moved to Bella Vista in 1985 after living in St. Louis and Mexico, Missouri; Moline and Rock Island, Illinois; Des Moines, Iowa, Trenton, Michigan and Pelham, Alabama. Pat is survived by son, John B. Coats and daughter-in-law Pam of Bella Vista; daughter, Julie A. Holt of North Attleborough, Massachusetts; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 2nd at St. Bernard Catholic Church, One St. Bernard Lane, Bella Vista, Arkansas 72715.
