Charlotte Lee Smith

Charlotte Smith, 72, of North Little Rock passed peacefully on November 25, 2019, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born in Batesville, Arkansas on December 7, 1946 to Charles and Lola Warren. Charlotte grew up in the Park Hill area of North Little Rock, graduating from North Little Rock High School in 1964. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1982. Charlotte was a gifted educator to teens and adults of all ages in assisting thousands achieve their General Education Diplomas dedicating 30 years of service to the Little Rock School District in Adult Education, retiring in 2012. She was a long-time member of Park Hill Baptist Church. During much of her retirement she spent time at Lake Hamilton enjoying the outdoors. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles J. Warren. She is survived by her mother, Lola Lee Warren of North Little Rock; one sister Pam (Art) Quagliani of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Jay (Lisa) Warren of North Little Rock; three sons, Jamie Smith of Frankin, Tenn., Clay (Karla) Smith of North Little Rock, Coby Smith of North Little Rock; 10 grandchildren. Hayley (Chris) Dwyer, Jake Smith, Evyn Smith, Sheridan Smith, Gray Smith, Peri Smith, Brady Smith, Skyler Smith, Keller Smith, Asher Smith; two great-grandchildren Juliet Dwyer and Faye Dwyer. Services honoring her life will be at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street North Little Rock.
