Joyce Elizabeth Kerr

Joyce Elizabeth Kerr (Sis), 87, of Fayetteville, Ark. passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019. She was born April 26, 1932 in Mountain Home, Texas to Seabird and Lena Helen Henderson. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill, Buddy (Joyce's twin), and Mackie Wayne. Joyce graduated from Tivy High School in Kerrville, Texas in 1950. She retired from the State of Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission in 1994. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Joyce enjoyed family reunions, spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, and working with plants (she had the Henderson green thumb). Joyce is survived by her son, John Brinckerhoff Kerr III and his spouse, Grace Rusk Kerr, of Fayetteville, Ark.; her sister, Jennie Bly of Austin, Texas; and two grandsons, Ross and Ryan, of Fayetteville, Ark. and Gainesville, Fla., respectively.
