Linda Carol Younger

LINDA CAROL YOUNGER of North Little Rock, Ark., went to be with the Lord November 27, 2019 at the age of 65. Her physical death due to cancer. 2 Corinthians 5:8 To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. She was baptized into the Christian faith many years ago in a Baptist church in Concord, Ark. Linda was born on July 19, 1954 in Batesville, Ark., to parents Marcus and Jewel Younger who have preceded her in death along with a sister, Susie Searcy. She is survived by her brother Bobby Younger and sister Patsy Rawlings of Batesville, Ark., sister Shirley Wood of Drasco, Ark., and sister Gloria Vickers of Ozone, Ark. She is also survived by other family members and friends. As a child she was raised in Pleasant Grove, Ark. Linda graduated high school in 1972 at Southside and went on to complete a BS degree in Social Work and Psychology at then Arkansas College (Lyon) in Batesville, Ark. She dedicated most of her working life to the social welfare of children. She was an avid dog lover and owner as well as advocating for the rights of animals. Linda will be missed.
