Matthew Edward Swanepoel, 52, of Seligman, Missouri died November 30, 2019 at his home. He was born August 28, 1967 in Stillwater, Minn., to Charles Emil Swanepoel and Rebecka Schmidt. He married Armenda Faye Patterson August 6, 2005 in Washburn, Mo. Matt was known for his motto of 'NBD' No big Deal and it was that positive attitude that carried him through a 2 1/2 year cancer battle. It was that same attitude that made him loved by everyone he came into contact with. He loved his job at Englander dZignPak in Bentonville where he never considered it work and was loved by all who worked with him.He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to see many races. He was proud to be a cheesehead and loved his Green Bay Packers. Most of all he was a family man at heart.He loved his family and watching his girls excel in school and athletically was the highlight of his life. He fought hard to be here for his girls but loved the Lord and wasn't afraid to die because with his hope in Christ he knew he was a winner either way. Survivors are his wife, Armenda Faye Swanepoel of the home; three daughters, Taylor Dumas and husband Alex of Rogers, Rebecca and Gracie Swanepoel of the home; his father, Charles Swanepoel and wife, Kris Bowers of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his mother, Rebecka Sell and husband Marty of Rogers; six siblings, Charles Swanepoel, Eric Swanepoel, Melissa Swanepoel, Angie Swanepoel, D.J. Swanepoel and Garrett Richards; two grandchildren, Vaden and Brantley Dumas of Rogers; also survived by his in-laws, Clifford and Cindy Patterson and a special niece, Anna Church. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 4 at Antioch Cemetery in Jacket, Mo. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday night at the funeral home.
