Gary Wayne Johnson

Gary Wayne Johnson 72, of Fort Smith, Ark., passed away Monday December 2nd 2019. Gary loved to hunt and fish beside working in his garden. He was crazy over his grandchildren and great grandchildren, there was nothing he would not do for them. He is the son of the late A.L Johnson of Morrilton and Ruby Dail Porter of Alma. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Johnson of Alma, Ark., and a brother John Steven Porter of Alma. Survivors include his two daughters Tami Moore and Melissa Yancy of Fort Smith, one brother, Dail Lamar Johnson of Conway and one sister Sharron Hood of Texarkana, Texas, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary chose to be cremated and his ashes will be buried at Gracelawn Cemetery next to his beloved wife, Saturday December 7th 2019 at 11.
