Margaret S. Cranford

MARGARET SAULTERS CRANFORD, 92, of Bryant, Ark., formerly of North Little Rock, passed away on December 7, 2019. She was the daughter of Lenzie and Ethel Saulters, born on March 23, 1927. Margaret was a member of 47th Street Baptist Church. She loved to read and sew; she even made a lot of her own clothes. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Calvin Cranford; brothers, Cecil, Herman and Arvel Saulters; and sister Marvell Perry. She is survived by a sister, Geraldine Summerhill of England; son, Gary Cranford (Chris) of Conway; daughter, Shirley Hartwick (Bill) of Bryant; two sister-in-laws, Adelle Saulters of Little Rock and Helen Saulters of Colorado; brother-in-law, David Cranford of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Daniel Hartwick, Nathaniel Hartwick (Misty) and Sonya Keister (Jason); great-granddaughters, Sienna Hartwick and Hadley Hartwick; along with several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK Blvd in North Little Rock, Ark., with a burial to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 47th Street Baptist Church, 5512 Pike Ave, North Little Rock, Ark., 72118.
