Max Theodor Beck

Max Theodor Beck, 55, of Little Rock left us unexpectedly on December 7, 2019. He was born in Heidelberg, Germany to Anne-Gret and Christian Beck on October 14, 1964. His father suddenly died when Max was 2 1/2 years old. After his mother remarried and moved to the United States, he grew up in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, graduating from Pine Bluff High in 1982. He then attended Louisiana Tech University. Throughout his life, he was very loved. His warmth, kindness, and sense of humor were enjoyed by almost everyone. Reading, fishing, traveling, animals, along with family and friends were the pleasures of his life. He will be deeply missed. Max is survived by his mother, Anne-Gret Atkinson (Bob) of Hot Springs, Arkansas (formerly of Pine Bluff); sister, Gabriele Aziable (Bernard) of Cologne, Germany; brother, Michael Beck (Terri Hanley) of Chicago, Illinois; sister, Erika Atkinson of Hot Springs, Arkansas; along with three aunts, one uncle, many cousins, three lifelong friends that he grew up with, and his much loved dog, K. A memorial service will be held Friday December 13, 2019, 2 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 4101 South Hazel Street in Pine Bluff. Arrangements are by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services.
