Robert Bailey

Robert Leon Bailey, 79, of McRae Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2019. He was born to the late Paul and Marie Bailey on February 19, 1940 in Bald Knob, Arkansas. Robert was a member of Valley Baptist Church in Searcy, he was a member of Mendocino Lodge 179 A&FM in Mendocino, California, and Lodge 687 A&FM in McRae, Arkansas, he also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 412 in McRae, Arkansas and 508 in Cabot, Arkansas. He was a recipient of The Pillars of Solomon award and a retiree of Walmart. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Nelma, three sons Darrell (Mickey), Dennis, Dale, one daughter Bonnie (Darryl), stepson Michael, one sister Betty Robinson (Robert), along with a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers William Paul Jr., Roger, and Thomas. Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home Searcy, Arkansas. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. at Antioch Cemetery.
