Donald George Chapman

Our beloved husband and father, Don Chapman, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away at age 85 on December 13, 2019. Born on June 15, 1934, in St Louis to Ralph and Lucille Chapman, Don had a lifelong passion for fishing and took joy in helping others through teaching and volunteering. After retiring and moving from Oklahoma City to Bella Vista, he became a member of the Fly Tyers Club, where he taught fly tying for 27 years. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 64 years Arlene; children Lori Chapman, Jim Chapman, and Dale Chapman; daughter-in-law Debra Chapman; grandchild Stephen Chapman; granddaughter-in-law Meggie Chapman; and great grandchildren Laney Chapman and Kyler Chapman. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 18th at 1 p.m., at Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista, 1880 Bella Vista Way, Bella Vista. Condolences may be expressed at www.funeralmation.com.
