Mary Dean Rice Reynolds died December 16, 2019. She was born June 7, 1925 in Antioch. Her parents were Lawrence and Alciedean Price Rice, both deceased. At age six months, Mary Dean moved to Beebe. In 1929 she was named Little Miss Beebe, a title she was reminded of her whole life. She graduated from Beebe high school in 1943. Mary Dean was a descendant of pioneer families in White county namely the Price, Moore and Burtons. On November 10, 1942 she married the love of her life Joseph Bernard Reynolds, who died September 25, 2003. Mrs. Reynolds was member of the First United Methodist church in North Little Rock. She had served on most of the committees of the church. Also, a member of the Triune Sunday School Class and United Methodist Women. She had served as an officer in the local and Conway District. Other memberships include North Little Rock Woman's club, White County Historical Society and Elks Widows, 264th Reunion Committee, Morton-Wayland Circle. Mary had been employed by the Timex Employee's credit union. Survivors include sons, Joseph Lawrence Reynolds and wife Michele of Lonoke, Karl Stephen Reynolds and wife Dawn of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Joli Lewis and husband Dean and their children C.J, Michael and Beth Davis of Joplin, Mo., Adam Reynolds and his children Victoria and Austin of North Little Rock, Lauren Hawk and Husband Alex of Little Rock; step-grandchildren, Clay and Michael Leszczyna; great-great-grandchildren, Hunter and Emmy Lewis; sister, Verna Jean Parks and brother-in-law Bob Parks of Beebe; and brother-in-law, Charles Reynolds of Dover. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, December 21, 2019 at First United Methodist Church, 6701 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Burial to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday, December 20, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116.
