Wanda Riddell Chastain

Wanda Riddell Chastain, 77, of Stuttgart passed away peacefully at Baptist Health-Little Rock on Sunday, Dec.15, 2019. She was born March 4, 1942, to the late Orval and Bertha Swartwood Riddell. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leland, Raymond, John W. and Warren Riddell; sister, Norma J. Apker; and Charles Chastain, father of her children. Survivors include daughters, Tracy Cate (Dr. Chris) of Little Rock and Kerry Chastain (fiancé Travis Williams) of Stuttgart; son, David Chastain (Chasity) of DeWitt; grandchildren, Anthony Chastain of Stuttgart, Peyton Cate Hildebrand (Aaron) of Fayetteville, Graham M. Cate (fiancé Grace Fegtly) of Fayetteville, Emaly Newkirk of Stuttgart and Trevor Newkirk of Jonesboro; great-grandchildren, Allie and Kason Chastain of DeWitt; and sister, Betty Riddell Haller of Conway. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, with a memorial service at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church in Stuttgart. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Research Center, Humane Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
