Suzanne Warrena Richardson Laffoon

Suzanne Warrena Richardson Laffoon, age 71 of Searcy and Little Rock, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 18, 2019 at the Advanced Care Hospital in Searcy. She was born February 5, 1948 in Lincoln Hospital in Detroit, Michigan to the late Warren and Mary Richardson. Suzanne grew up in Little Rock, but spent the majority of her life in Searcy. She was a member of Trinity Parish Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Amy Laffoon, sister, Ellen Brown and brother, Phillip Brown. Survivors include her husband, David Laffoon, son, Jon Paul Laffoon, wife Meghan, and grandson, Jon Miller Laffoon, brother, Mike Richardson and many family members and friends. Suzanne was very creative and demonstrated it through painting, poetry, and interior design. She understood that love was the most important thing of all. She was a Registered Interior Designer and served on the Arkansas State Board of Architects and Interior Designers. She was certified by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). The family would like to thank Doctors Covey and Lim and nursing staff on 4 South-at Unity Hospital and Doctors Carlisle and Jones and nursing staff at Advanced Care Hospital and Arkansas Hospice. The care in both hospitals and hospice was outstanding. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 200 North Elm Street, Searcy, Ark. 72143. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 23, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Parish Church (Episcopal), 200 N. Elm Street, Searcy, Arkansas.
