Herman Joseph "Woody" Beck Sr., 78, of Morrilton, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019. He was born June 22, 1941 in Little Rock, a son of the late Herbert Sebastian Beck and the late Freida Josephine Zimmerebner Beck. He was a retired car salesman and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons: Joey (Djuana) Beck of Springfield and Chuck (Tracey) Norwood of Morrilton; three daughters: Lisa (Richard) Upton, Kim (John) Fresneda, and Misty (Brad) Willbanks all of Morrilton; brothers: John Beck of Center Ridge and George (Diane) Beck of Morrilton; sisters: Pat (David) Joslin of Morrilton, Beebe (Dave) Huett of Hattieville, Ginny Jo Nelson of Harrison, Mary Kay (Johnny) Wiedower of Morrilton, and Dorothy Huddleston of Conway; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia Jennen Beck and grandson: Nick Swain.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jack Harris officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Rosary will be 6 p.m. Thursday, December 26, with visitation to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Memorial donations can be made to Sacred Heart School Endowment Fund.
