Vada Alice Loker

Vada Alice Loker, 90, of Springdale, died Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born May 2, 1929 in Forest Grove, Oregon, to Charles Francis and Ethel Anderson Loyd. She married her high school sweetheart, Keith Loker, on May 2, 1948. Vada is predeceased by her husband, Keith; sisters, Opal Burr, Francis Krien, Jennie Fritcher, Jean Cross, brothers Lawrence Loyd, Ivan Loyd, and Garold Loyd. She is survived by one son, Steve Loker and wife Sue of Seligman, Mo.; two daughters, Linda Reville and husband Kenny of Leander, Texas, and Paula Stephenson of Springdale; seven grandchildren, Chris Loker, Adam Reville, Chip Stephenson, Becky Blackwell, Melissa Harrington, Breanna Woodard, and Angela Rister; and 10 great-grandchildren. All of these she loved and touched deeply. She loved to read and enjoyed sewing for her children and grandchildren. She also loved to cook and looked for any reason to whip up a good meal. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the Sisco Funeral Chapel with Larry Culbreath officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at the Sisco Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers are Chris Loker, Chip Stephenson, Mike Blackwell, Randy Woodard, Phil Harrington and Spencer Stephenson.
