Betty Maxine Jones Alley, 92, passed away peacefully at home December 22, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born September 10, 1927 to Robert Kelley and Dorothy (Englehart) in Adair, Oklahoma. Betty married Edwin Jones in 1964. They moved to Rogers in 1967 for a job opportunity with Daisy Manufacturing. They purchased a home together and lived happily in downtown Rogers until his passing in 1991. Betty worked many years at the Country House Flea Market where she made lifelong friends and eventually met Howard Alley. They married in 1993 and enjoyed 22 years together collecting and selling antiques from local auctions until his passing in 2016. Betty was a life long member of the Church of Christ. She was an expert gardener and loved to collect rocks from her travels. She had a humble spirit and a strong faith in God. When she was diagnosed with cancer she simply said, "I'm so lucky to have gotten cancer at 92 instead of 42. If the Lord says it's my time I'm ready." Betty was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Dorothy Kelley, brother Billy Kelley, former husband Eugene Piguet, two daughters Darlene Piguet and Wilma Jean Bayles. Betty is survived by her three grandsons; Jerry Bayles and his wife Cherie, Bobby Bayles and his former wife Vicki, Michael Bayles and his wife Angie and two nieces Shirley Coyle and Carol Ward. She was a loving Great Grandma to Sara, Hunter, Austin, India, Ethan and Tori. She was proud to be a Great Great Grandma to Landen, Carter, Brinlee and Layken. We will all miss our Grandma Betty.
