Katherine (Katie) Anderson of Bella Vista, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2019. She was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on August 29, 1928 to Myron and Mary Wheat.
She was a graduate of Oklahoma State University and obtained her master's degree from Texas A&M. Katherine taught public schools in Kansas, Alaska and Arkansas. She was an active member of the Bella Vista Assembly of God and was an officer in the Christian Women's Club in Bentonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and one daughter.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years and 9 months, Jack; son Kenneth and his wife Christian of Eureka Springs, daughter Lisa and her husband David of Bentonville; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She was dearly loved by her husband, children and all of her family as well as all of her Christian friends. She is now home with Jesus and is celebrating her homecoming.
Memorial services will be at Bella Vista Assembly of God, Friday, December 27 at 2 p.m.
