James Theodore "Jim" Roberson, Jr.

James Theodore "Jim" Roberson, Jr., of Morrilton, went to be with his heavenly Father on December 24, 2019. He was born on August 9, 1940, to J.T. and Faye Powell Roberson in Lewisburg, Ark. He married his beloved wife, Julia Annette "Judy" Holyfield Roberson on June 24, 1960. Jim and his father were the founders of Roberson Tire Service Inc. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the Lord and served Him at First Baptist Church in Morrilton. He is survived by his wife; sister, Virginia Wright; sons, Ted (Cynthia), Landy (Cathleen), and Mark (Melissa); granddaughters, Andrea (Brandon) Resecker, Heather (Brandon) Zinser, Emily (Barrett) Barsamian, and Katie (Hunter) Mullins; grandsons, J.T. (Hollie), Landy "Wyatt", Marshall and Carson Roberson; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 28, at Harris Chapel. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at funeral home.
