Jeffrey Jay Brown, 56, of Bentonville, Ark., went to his heavenly tee time surrounded by close family and friends on December 22, 2019. His larger-than-life persona and trademark personality will not be forgotten to anyone who knew him. Born February 5th, 1963 in Mankato, Minn., Jeff was the son of the late Neill and Carol Brown. He attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, playing Center on their football team. His career spanned 35 years in a variety of retail operations roles at Costco, Walmart and Sam's Club. Jeff could be relied on to be both the life of the party and grill master. He loved to surround himself with family and friends listening to music on the back porch. His passion for Vikings football and golf was eclipsed only by his dedication to family and friends. Jeff was a reliable and trusted coworker, friend, brother, father and husband and a source of unending support, advice and love for all those he met. Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; daughter, Karli Brown; son, Jacob Brown; 2 stepdaughters, Courtney (Austin) Foote and Myranda Shaw; 2 brothers, Dale (Valerie) Brown and Carl Brown; sister Amy (Ray) Smith; many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members. Jeff was a loving father, husband and friend to all. Services celebrating his life will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Hunt Chapel at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., with his Funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Arrangements are under the care of Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. www.CallisonLoughFH.com.
