Vanessa Nell Steves

Vanessa Steves, 65, passed away on December 23, 2019, with her family by her side. She was born on October 20, 1954, to the late R.A. and Virginia Muse in Little Rock, Ark. She was a disaster relief volunteer for the Red Cross for many years. Vanessa also loved raising her grandchildren, family, and animals. She worked at Baptist BRI as an I.A. and was devout in her faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, and step-mother Wanda Muse. Vanessa is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Michael Steves; son, Gregory Dane Shaw; grandchildren, Lydia, Tyson, Ella, Addison, and Beckett; sister, Dorothy Ann Daniels "Howard"; brother, Don Muse "Lynn"; beloved dog, Xenia; numerous cats; and a host of other family and friends who all loved her dearly and will miss her very much. Celebration of life will Tuesday December 31, 2019, at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, Ark.
