PHILIP LEE SPRINGER, 67, earned his angel wings on Monday, December 16, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor between the hours of 11 a.m.-3 p.m., on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the River House, 140 Riverfront Drive, North Little Rock, Ark. Philip was born September 19, 1952 in North Little Rock, Ark. He grew up in the Camp Robinson area and was a 1970 graduate of Sylvan Hills High School. He loved to go fishing and any opportunity he had to get his fishing pole in the water made him extremely happy. Philip was also a die-hard Arkansas Razorback fan. He loved all Razorback sports and he never missed watching a game. He was a kind and loving man who touched anyone's heart who met him. He is preceded in death by his parents Colonel Bobby Jo Springer and Martha Lee Springer. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Christi Walls and Larry Godfrey of Jacksonville; his sister Paula Springer-Smith of Jacksonville; two grand-daughters Hayley Walls and Heather Walls of Sherwood; one grandson Christopher Smith of Little Rock; his niece Jessica Newton-Hepler of Jacksonville; his nephew Jonathon Newton of St. Louis, Mo., and his girlfriend Debra O'Bryan of Little Rock.
