Walter Steven Trawick

Walter Steven Trawick, formerly of Hot Springs, passed away January 27, 2019 in Houston, Texas. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 3, 1955 to Walter Martin Trawick Jr. and Winnie Partridge Trawick. Steve graduated from Lake Hamilton High School and continued his education at the University of Phoenix earning a bachelor and two master degrees. He became certified in Diagnostic Imagery and Orthopedic Technology. Most of his working years, Steve organized, established, and taught diagnostic imagery programs at various universities most recently at the University of Texas at Houston. He was preceded in death by his father and a cousin, Mark Partridge of Dardanelle. Steve is survived by his mother; a brother, Tracy Trawick (Ellen), of Hot Springs; nephew Kelly Trawick (Stacy) of Hot Springs; niece Lindsey Waites (Andrew); great-nephew, Harris Waites; great-niece, Alice Waites all of Frisco, Texas; an uncle, Joe Partridge (Ava); cousins, David (Melody) Partridge, Jacob Partridge of Dardanelle and Ashley Sanders (Ryan) of Metirie, Louisiana. Steve was baptized at Camp Wyldewood in Searcy, Arkansas many years ago.
