Harold Eugene Ray

Bro. Harold Eugene Ray, 84, of West Memphis went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Bro. Ray was a retired Baptist Minister serving many churches. He served the Tri-County Baptist association as Director of Missions and as Chaplin for Crittenden Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by the love of his life for 64 years, Edna Mae Ray; his parents, Eric L. Ray and Josie Fisher Ray; and a brother, Eric L. Ray. He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Wheeler (Bobby) of West Memphis, Ark.; two sons, Harold Eugene Ray Jr. (Martha) of Augusta, Ark. and Gregg Ray (Jennifer) of Horseshoe Lake, Ark.; four grandchildren, Eric Ray, Jason Ray, Natalie Ruthe and Bobby Wheeler Jr. along with six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas. The Funeral Service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church in West Memphis, Arkansas with burial following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.
