Beverly Ann Montour, age 85, of Bella Vista, passed away February 4, 2019, at Magnolia Place Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Rogers. She was born in Green Bay, Wis., on July 17, 1934, to the late Ernest Geise and Madeline Schroeder. Beverly had an amazing sense of adventure. She raced snow machines in Alaska and held the State Women's Snow Machine Championship 2 years running. She was a "huntswoman" and loved fishing, hunting, golfing, and traveling. Bev loved quilting, coin collecting, coloring books, and playing cards. She adored music as she loved to sing her favorite classic songs by: Patsy Cline and The Judds. She was a very talented woman, owned Far North Trophy & Sign Cache and Bamfom Creations in Fairbanks, Alaska. Locally, her and Francis's works of art and their business "Creations in Wood and Mirror," have been featured in various magazines and newspapers. Beverly was a kind, loving, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was much loved and will be missed by many. She is preceded in death by her adoring husband, Francis "Frank" Oswald Montour and cherished son in law, William Kim Philpott. She is survived by her loving daughter, Pamela Philpott; grandchildren, Brandon Philpott and Amy Kenninger (Michael Kenninger); great grandchildren, Jaxton and Brooklynn. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Alzheimer's Association. Cremation arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
