Sammie Leroy Wilson, 86, of Vilonia went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Oil Trough, Arkansas. Retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service. Lived in Sherwood 26 years, then Vilonia 20 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Scimitar Shrine Temple. Survived by four daughters; Wanda (Dennis) Jamerson, Debbie (Mike) Wilmarth, Sharon (Steve) Powell, Deann (Mike) Campbell; five grandchildren: Jonathon (Mary) Staggs, Scott (Cheyenne) Staggs, Josh Thomas, Brittney Poetzman and Dilan Jamerson; two great granddaughters; Chloe Staggs and Madeline Staggs; three brothers; Tom Wade, R.A. Wilson, Jessie Wilson and one sister; Wanda Lauderbaugh. Preceded in death by his parents Ruben A. and Sophia (Lindley) Wilson, beloved wife of 51 years, Delia (Horner) Wilson, seven brothers and five sisters. Visitation at Rest Hills in North Little Rock, Arkansas on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 1 p.m. followed by the funeral at 2 p.m.with Military Honors.
