Joseph Craig Hoffman

Joseph Craig Hoffman, 96, of Springfield, Mo., passed away on February 3rd, 2019. He was born in Little Rock, Ark. on November 4th, 1922 to parents Henry Craig Hoffman and Nellie Mae Jones. He married the love of his life, Betty Nell Barnes on March 4, 1950. Joseph loved making candy, watching sports, camping, motorcycles, and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joseph was a veteran of the Navy and proudly served with honor in World War II. Those left to cherish his memory are his three children: Edward Craig Hoffman, Joseph Riegler Hoffman, and Andrew Shane Hoffman; four grandchildren: Joseph Daniel Hoffman, Liza Marie Hoffman, Matthew Craig Hoffman, and Jessica Marie Freeman; five great-grandchildren: Kobe Matthew Duane Jordan, Kaden Anthony Jordan, Lillian Marie Freeman, Adelyn Rose Freeman, and Evelyn Grace Freeman; and two sisters: Nellie Jean Long, and Margaret Hester Justice. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 8th, 2019 at Pinecrest Funeral Home in Alexander beginning at 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held immediately after the visitation, at 1 p.m.
