Evelyn Williams Trafford

Evelyn Williams Trafford, age 81, of Plumerville, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019. She was born January 6, 1938 in Birdtown, Arkansas, a daughter of Roy Williams and Beatrice Jones Williams. She was a Christian member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and raised Birdtown, Arkansas. Evelyn graduated from Center ridge High School and was a devoted wife, mother, and Nanna. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John B. Trafford of Plumerville; daughter Marcia (Rick) Charton of Plumerville; two sons, John A. (Karen) Trafford and Gary Trafford, both of Plumerville; five grandchildren, Jason Charton, Justin Charton, Derrick Trafford, Candice Rogers, and Christina Eldridge; and nine great-grandchildren, Heaven and Hallie Valentine, Addie and Jackson Charton, Alexa, Hollan, Sydney and Ellison Charton, and Abigail Trafford. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Royce Williams and Dean Williams; and great grandson, Samuel Trafford. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 11, at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Cantrell and Blake Martin officiating. Burial will be at Mt.
