Clifton "Gene" Eugene Winters

Clifton "Gene" Eugene Winters, 80, of Springdale passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Willard Walker Hospice Home. He was born January 21, 1939 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to William "Bill" Eugene and Mildred Evelyn Smith Winters. Gene was a Springdale Police officer for 12 years. He worked at the Sonora Store with his parents. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Winters of the home; two sons, Steven Winters of Springdale and Duane Winters and wife Tanya of Huntsville; one daughter, Karen Winters Anderson and husband Carl, Jr. of Springdale; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
