Kenneth J. Aldridge, 87, died on February 19, 2019 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on May 22, 1931 to the late A.W. and Bessie Mae Aldridge in Quitman, Arkansas. He was a member of the Union Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Coy, Arkansas, where he served as Deacon, adult Sunday school teacher, and Sunday school superintendent for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. His true loves were his three grandchildren, who gave him the joy of a belated childhood. He was always hardworking, honest, and put others before himself. He was the best Daddy. He was a member of the American Legion for over fifty years and served proudly in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from farming, owning and operating the Aldridge Grocery Store and worked at Ward CO-OP for 20 years. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife and only love of 53 years Jerle Aldridge of Cabot, Arkansas, two daughters Kelly (Tony) Staley of Conway, Arkansas and Shonda (Mike) Wintroath of Roland, Arkansas, as well as, his three grandchildren, Audra Staley, Zachary Staley and Cameron Wintroath. Funeral Service will be held Friday February 22, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday February 21, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Union Valley Cemetery in Coy, Arkansas. Wilson Robison Funeral Home of England, Arkansas in charge of the arrangements. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8.
