Becky Hale of North Little Rock went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. She was 67 years old. Becky was born August 24, 1951 in Little Rock to Royce and Patricia Griffith. After graduating high school from North Little Rock High, she attended Memphis State, now the University of Memphis, to become a registered nurse. She returned to Arkansas as a nurse at Baptist Health Little Rock, before working as an endocrine specialties nurse at Arkansas Children's Hospital. But her greatest work began once she joined Arkansas Hospice in 2006. An active member of her church, Becky participated in the praise team at Indian Hills Baptist Church, as well as led praise and worship as her husband, Ronald Ben Hale, preached to incarcerated men and women in Arkansas. But her final church home was New Life Church (NLC). Becky is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and brother, Theodore Byron Griffith. She is survived by her husband, Ronald, daughters Amber Whitlock, Kimberly Tarkington, and Rachel (Patrick) Miller, and her son Ryan (Meredith) Hale, all of North Little Rock; a sister, Patricia Griffith of Bryant, and a brother, John (Alice) Griffith of Franklin, Tenn.; as well as several nieces and nephews, and nine grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at NLC's Greater Little Rock Campus located at 8000 Crystal Hill Rd. in North Little Rock in the student center to the right of the main building. Visitation will begin at noon with a celebration of life to follow at 1 p.m. led by NLC pastors Mark Davis and Dean Fagley. Becky will be interred at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park during a private ceremony ahead of the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Arkansas Hospice and/or New Life Church. Please share your memories of Becky with her family at www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
