Geraldine "Gerry" Farnsworth

Geraldine ("Gerry") Farnsworth, 92, died February 18, 2019, at the Faith Presbyterian T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center in Dallas, Texas. She was born on September 23, 1926, in Anson, Texas, to Arden and Willie Mae (Thomas) Beasley. With Bill Farnsworth, her husband of 70 years, she lived in Anson, Lubbock, and Richardson, Texas. She lived more than four decades in Northwest Arkansas. She received her Master's Degree from the University of Arkansas and taught business courses in Bentonville, Ark. She was a Ruling Elder at the First Presbyterian Church in Bentonville and later attended Community Church in Bella Vista, Ark. She was a proud member of many organizations where she made lifelong friends, including PEO and numerous bridge and golf organizations. Preceded in death by her husband, Bill, her parents, her brother, Buck Beasley, and her sister, Patsy Owens. She is survived by her daughter, Tonya McKiever of Las Vegas, Nev.; son, Gregory Farnsworth (David Pucek) of Dallas; granddaughter, Colli McKiever of Las Vegas; great-granddaughter, Ashlin Gross of Las Vegas; sister-in-law, Eva Sage of Dallas; several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. A private burial was held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Anson. A memorial service will be held at the Monie Chapel on the campus of Presbyterian Village North on Saturday, March 2, at 11 a.m. In May, 2019, a service will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Anson to dedicate her monument. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dallas Alzheimer's Association.
