Georgia Dortch Sowers

Georgia Dortch Sowers, age 77, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, February 6th, 2019. She was born to the late George and Helen Dortch on January 3, 1942 in Scott, Arkansas. Georgia attended Little Rock Central High School then the University of Arkansas, where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. After college she made her permanent home in Little Rock where she raised her family. She is survived by her two sons, Bill and John, and six grandchildren, Addison, Zachary, Alyssa, Rosie, Dassi, and Evangeline. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at Asbury United Methodist Church starting at 2 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home. www.ruebelfuneralhome.coml.
