Christina Bell

Christina Bell, 84, widow of Richard E. Bell, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019. Chris was born July 11, 1934, in El Paso, Texas, to Hermilo and Maria Perez Mendoza. She was a homemaker and member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a beloved mother and friend to many. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Mendoza and Hermilo Mendoza. Survivors are two sons, David Bell and wife Kellie of Little Rock and Stephen Bell of Arkadelphia; former daughter-in-law, Terri Bell of Stuttgart; brother, Frank Mendoza of Falls Church, Va.; two sisters, Grace Mendoza of Falls Church, Va., and Carmen Haddox of El Paso, Texas; and four grandchildren, Stephanie Bell, Michael Bell, Elizabeth Bell and Christopher Bell. A graveside service, officiated by Father Clayton Gould, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lone Tree Cemetery chapel. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home.
