Helen Margaret Adams

Helen Margaret Adams, 92, of Sherwood, went to be with the Lord February 26, 2019. She was born October 13, 1926 in Crocketts Bluff, Arkansas to the late Leonard and Ruth (Childers) Gravett. She is also preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, William "Bill" F. Adams; two sons, Leonard "Downey" Gravett and William "Billy" F. Adams Jr.; and sister Francis Deleo. Helen was a member of Cherrywood Baptist Church and a life member of Pioneers. She retired after working with Southwestern Bell/AT&T for 38 years. She enjoyed watching the Razorbacks, solving puzzles, sewing, gardening and bird watching. The family will remember her as a great mother, grandmother and friend. Helen is survived by her son, Terry Adams and wife Donna of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; daughter, Betty Broom and husband John of Dewitt; son Jimmy Adams and wife Rebecca of Sherwood; daughter, Selena Adams of Cabot; sister, Carolyn Braswell (Bill) of Dewitt; and grandchildren: Shannon and (Brent) Darter of Greenbriar, JW and (Autumn) Adams, II of Cabot, Christy (Kelly) Moorer of Galveston, Texas, Tommy and (Becky) York of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Joe and (Stephanie) York of Bryant, Jackie King of Camden, Tennessee, Richard and Christy Rowland of Dewitt, Sindy Rowland of Dewitt, Arkansas, Angie Adams of Cabot; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice, especially Janet and Makayla. Funeral Service will be 12 noon, noon, on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F.
