Dorothy Miles Karnes

Dorothy Miles Karnes departed our world on December 30, 2018. She was born April 28, 1920 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Guy L. Miles and Eva Charity Simons. Her husband Kenneth Karnes, sisters, Irene Stanberry, Jewell/Campbell and one brother, Ellis Miles preceded her in death. Her children Kenna Westerman (husband Russell) and Mark Karnes (wife Mary) along with four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren cherish her memory. Dorothy worked as a Librarian Assistant for the AR School for the Blind, and as a receptionist for the Department for Education. Memorials can be given to the AR School for the Blind, and Immanuel Baptist Church, Pastor's Class. Memorial Service at US National Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 12 noon under the direction of Lewis Roberts Funeral Chapel, 4817 Kelley Hwy., Fort Smith, Arkansas.
