Little Rock, Ark. MRS. HAZEL DIXON PHILLIPS, 93, June 7, 1925 - Dec. 28, 2018. The family of Hazel Dixon Phillips has announced her passing on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, in Little Rock, Ark. Hazel Phillips was born and raised in Hope, Ark., until declining health led her to move to Little Rock. She is the wife of Charles Phillips, Sr., for seventy-one years and Mother to her children, the late Charles Phillips, Jr., Harold E. Phillips and one daughter Kaye Phillips-Hicks (Larry). She leaves behind to mourn her loss sister-in-law, Mary Ann Grant; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends. Services have been entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, 407 S. Hazel St., Hope, Ark. 71801. Phone: (870) 777-8674. A Wake will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Her Homegoing Celebration on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at 11 a.m. will be held at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1002 Beech St., Hope, Ark.
