TAMILA JILL JOHNSON PRESTON, age 43, of North Little Rock went home to the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018. She was born on June 24, 1975, to Tommy and Vivian Johnson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nicolette Paige Preston; her mother, Vivian R. Johnson; her father and mother-in-law Bill and Debbie Preston.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kurt Preston; two sons, Dakota Preston and Zakkariah Preston; one grandson, Noah Preston; mother-in-law, Melody Loftis; brother-in-law, Scott Preston and wife Nancy; her father, Tommy Johnson; a sister, Cyndia Johnson Ham and husband Charles; along with numerous nephews and nieces.
One of her greatest joys in life was to see, hold and cherish her grandson Noah. She was proud of her sons for the fine young men that they had grown into, and she loved her husband and best friend Kurt fiercely and loyally. She loved all of her family and friends passionately, just as we all loved her.
It is with great sadness and regret that we who are still here have to say goodbye. There aren't enough words to express the deep sorrow that we all feel at her leaving us. But we take some comfort in the fact that she is with all those who have gone before her, and that she is no longer held shackled by the pain that she suffered with while here on earth.
Goodbye my sweet Tamila until we meet once more in Heaven.
