Pastor David Lee Corns, 68, of Blytheville, Arkansas, transition to his heavenly home on December 28, 2018. He was born, June 29, 1950 in Dewitt, Arkansas to LC Corns and Verdia Swift. He was the pastor of Nehemiah Temple Church of God In Christ and the superintendent of Arkansas First COGIC, Blytheville District. He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 47 years, Missionary Patricia Williams Corns; three brothers: Steve Roalston of Pine Bluff, Jeffery (Mary Ann) Roalston of Blythe, Calif., and Lawrence Corns of Apopka, Fla.; nine sisters: Jessie Mae Mann of Los Angeles, Calif., Maxine Johnson of Pine Bluff, Lela Mae Simpson (Jerry), Willis Marie Moore of Memphis, Tenn., Elizabeth Gamble (Fred) of Los Angeles, Calif., Laurie Bishop (Elder Gregory Bishop), Mary Jones (Ricky) of Little Rock, Melanie Swift of Houston, Texas and Jannie Corns of Indiantown, Fla.; host of other family members, Nehemiah Temple COGIC Family and the Blytheville District Family. Celebration services will be held Friday, January 4th at 6 p.m. in Blytheville, Arkansas at Nehemiah Temple COGIC; Saturday, January 5th, at 12 noon at Holy Temple Cathedral COGIC in Little Rock, Arkansas; Sunday, January 6th at 11 a.m. at East End COGIC in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
