Ila Fern Latham

Ila Fern Latham, age 86, of Danville, died Monday, December 31, 2018, at Deerview Nursing Center in Ola. She was born July 29, 1932, in Atkins, to Bill and Bertha May Baughman Banks. She was a caregiver for many years, traveling to Dallas, Texas, to care for clients. She later served as a caregiver closer to home. She loved sewing and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Hoyle, Donald Wayne, Berman and Bobby Banks; and two sisters, Billie Sue Latham and Jessie Boaz. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Latham Robinson; two brothers, Jimmy and Doyle Banks; a sister and brother-in-law, Patsy Sue and Mosie Jordan; a sister-in-law, Juanita Banks; and many other relatives and friends. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
