FLORA "Sissie" BEATRICE DAVIS, age 99, born Nov. 12, 1919. She was a faithful servant of God and entered the arms of her Lord and Savior on Jan. 3, 2019. At her home, she peacefully and quietly passed through that "open door" with her two beloved sisters, Jean Glasscock and Carolyn Bramucci, by her side. She is now reunited with her parents, Rachel (Cheek) and Doyle D. Davis. Her siblings preceding her in death are D.H., Pete, Russell and Nina Nix Riley. Flora was a member of the greatest generation. She was an amazing and faithful servant of God, always lovingly giving and serving others. In her younger years, she assisted her pastor father and toured with him and her sister, Jean, as a Gospel-singing trio. During the war, she worked at the Pine Bluff Arsenal, then retired from Westinghouse in 1988 with over 25 years of service. She devoted her life to caring and sacrificing for her widowed mother and her seven siblings, plus all her many nieces and nephews. She never married. She was always an active member of her church. She taught adult Sunday School classes for 40 years. She was an encourager, an inspiration, a role model and an example of a true woman of God. Her life was centered on her loving relationship with the Lover of her soul, and she prayed daily for every member of the family. Love and grace flowed from her and touched us all. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, Ark. Burial will follow at Pine Bluff Memorial Park in Dollarway, Ark. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, at the funeral home. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/drummond.
