Martha Kreder, 77, resident of Sulphur Springs, Ark., passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2018. She was born in Lansdale, Pa., to Josie and Curtis Largent. Martha was the wife of the late Alfred Kreder. She is survived by 2 sons, Norman Barnett (Rebecca) of Surprise, Ariz., and Virgil Kreder (Dorothy) of Egg Harbor, Wis.; 3 daughters, Rhonda Barnett of Sulphur Springs, Ark., April Essex (Bill) of North Glenn, Colo., and Shirley Kreder (Terry Dodds) of Davis, Ill.; her brother, Glen Largent of Quakertown, Pa.; her sister, Vera Kassinger of Harleysville, Pa.; as well as 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. While residing in Phoenix, she served as a member and officer of the Arizona Breakfast Club, where she met Alfred Kreder. They married in 1995 and moved to Sulphur Springs, Ark. She was a member of Grace Meadows Fellowship for over 20 years. Martha served 10 years as Alderwoman on the Sulphur Springs City Council. Martha was involved in numerous activities, including member and President of The Friendly Neighbors Club for the past 15 years. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hill Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Grace Meadows Fellowship in Maysville, Ark., with Pastor Bill Query officiating. Burial to follow at Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Ark. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions to be made to her home church, Grace Meadows Fellowship.
