Mary G. Palmer

Mary G. Palmer, 91, passed away on January 3, 2019 in Rogers. She was born on July 2, 1927 in Aurora, Kansas to the late Dave and Viola (Smith) Vignery. Mary and her husband, Elmer were married in 1945 and moved to Pea Ridge, Arkansas in 1951. They relocated to Stark City, Missouri in 1976. Mary loved Southern Gospel music and spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; parents; brother, Adelore Vignery; and sister, Norma June Capper. Mary is survived by her children, Betty Crawford and husband, Elvin of Gravette, Harry Palmer and wife Judy of Pea Ridge, Judy Hawkins of Pea Ridge and James Palmer and wife, Jill of Missouri; 9 grandchildren, Greg Crawford (Kim) of Gravette, Mickey Crawford of Oklahoma, David Palmer (Shari) of Colorado, Jack Hawkins (Angelina) of Connecticut, Marcus Palmer (Vero) of Pea Ridge, Jason Hawkins (Sara) of Oklahoma, Justin Hawkins of Pea Ridge, Megan Allen (Tyler) of Kansas, and Dana Palmer of Kansas; 11 great-grandchildren. Other survivors include her sister, Neva Olson of Florida; brother in-law, Everett Palmer (Joan) of Kansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Her visitation will be from 10-11 am on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel with a service to follow at 11 am. Burial will be at Benton County Memorial Park, Rogers.
