Worthy Freeman Sykes was born in Hot Springs on June 19, 1939 to Dorothy Bales and Harry Sykes. He left his pain and suffering and joined his Lord on January 5, 2019. Worthy was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Fortune Sykes; daughter, Stephanie Pritchard; and grandchildren, Madi and Mason all of Benton; and sister, Dr. Jo Chesser of Little Rock. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 9 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home with visitation held one hour prior to service. Burial following at Hunters Chapel Cemetery in Casscoe, Arkansas at 3 p.m. Memorials to Hunter's Chapel Cemetery Fund are appreciated.
