Carrie Ann Thompson

Carrie A. Thompson, 75, of Jacksonville passed from this life on January 6, 2019. She was born in Philadelphia, Mississippi on November 28, 1943. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gene Thompson. Carrie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Celina (David) Burks of Jacksonville, grandchildren, Rachael (Josh) Russell and Gregory (Kimberly) Stickney; great-grandchildren, Bentley and Bryson Stickney. Other survivors include sister, Mary Lou of Texas; along with a host of extended family and friends. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Obion County Memorial Gardens in Union City, Tennessee.
