Alta Aleen Pierce Jones

Alta Aleen Pierce Jones, a resident of Farmington, Arkansas, went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. She was born for the first time on September 27, 1942 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the daughter of Dale and Elza (Nellis) Pierce, and in 1954 she was born again. Alta had 76 years here on earth to serve her Lord. She asked Jesus to forgive her of all the sins she committed in her life and save her. She enjoyed seeing God's handy work and was blessed to see many of His wonders. She enjoyed the beautiful blooms. Friends and family were a blessing to her. She had two children and four grandchildren including her daughter, Jennifer Sager and son-in-law, Scott Sager. Her son, Bryan Jones and daughter-in-law, Stacy Jones; two granddaughters, Kendra (Sager) Sours and Delaney Jones and two grandsons, Dillon Jones and Tad Sours. It is Alta's desire that you would choose Jesus as your Savior as she did. In lieu of flowers she requests donations be made to Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 69 Neal St., Farmington, Arkansas 72730. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 - 11 a.m. at Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Farmington, Arkansas. Friends and family will gather to reminisce of times they had together.
