SAMUEL "LIL SAM" PETTIS JR., 57, of Little Rock, Ark., departed this life January 4. He was preceded in death by father, Samuel Pettis Sr.; mother, Jessie Mae Pettis; grandmother, Ruthie McKenzie; grandfather, Jessie Scott. He leaves to cherish his memory siblings, James L. Pettis of Olive Branch, Miss., Barbara (Michael) Hurvey of L.R., Sharon (Gregory) Hampton of Cedar Hill, Texas, Debra Pettis of N.L.R., Shirley (Derwin) Eackles of Snellville, Ga., Marlon (Michelle) Pettis of San Antonio, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
