Wanda Morrison Majors West

Wanda Morrison Majors West, 91, of Star City, Ark., formerly of Dermott, passed away Jan. 11, 2019, in Star City. She was born May 12, 1927, in Pansy, Ark., to the late Robert Hale and Josephine Stephens Morrison. Wanda was a member of First United Methodist Church in Star City and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Sam Majors, Gerald Steed and Morris West; and by one grandson. She was survived by three sons, Robert Majors of Little Rock, Ark., Michael (Rebecca) Majors of Harrison, Ark., and Paul Majors of Garfield, Ark.; one daughter, Melissa (David) Curtis of Dumas, Ark.; two sisters, Marion Sue Majors of White Hall, Ark., and Jackie Byrne of Hope, Ark.; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. There will be a Graveside Memorial Service on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at 2 p.m., Cornerville Cemetery, Cornerville, Ark., with Rev. Brad Elrod officiating.
