Beverly Ann Nelson

Beverly Ann Nelson, 79, of Ward went to be with the Lord, January 11, 2019. She was born in Little Rock, on July 29, 1939 to A.I. and Virginia Baker. Beverly graduated with an LPN degree and worked at various hospitals around Little Rock. She worked for Dr. Charles R. Winn until she semi-retired after 25 years. Beverly deciding retirement wasn't for her worked another 13 years for Neurology Associates. She taught elementary Sunday School for years. Beverly also enjoyed cross stich and making crafts. She also loved sharing her crafts with others. She would cross stitch Bible verses for her Sunday School children and Ed, her late husband, would frame a verse for each child. Beverly was also an active member of the church choir. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Edward J. Nelson. She is survived by four children; Jeff Chatman (Cindy), Les Nelson (Candy), Miles Nelson (Tiffany), Gina Parish (David), nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and one brother; Ronnie Baker (LaVonne). A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30. Funeral services will follow 1 pm, Wednesday at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1 Covenant Drive in Little Rock. Reverend Tim Reed will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in Beverly's name to Covenant Presbyterian Church.
