Mary Elizabeth Rochelle Duerson of England, Arkansas went home to be with her Saviour Saturday, January 12, 2019. A faithful and active member of the England United Methodist Church, she was proceeded by her husband of 65 years, William A. Duerson, Jr. and her oldest daughter Barbara Carol Duerson Henderson (Robert). She was born March 10, 1921 in Tomberlin, Arkansas to Thomas David Rochelle and Minnie Bell Pirtle Rochelle. Liz, or "Miss Liz" as many called her, is survived by one son, William Kerry Duerson (Sandie), of England, Arkansas, and one daughter, Melissa Duerson Harmon (Rod), of Thornton, Colorado; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939. Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the Roller England Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Monday, January 14, 2019.
