Ruanah Tuberville

RUANAH CAIN TUBERVILLE went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 12, 2019. She was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas May 21, 1922 to William and Bessie Cain. She was predeceased by her parents, two siblings, Ishmael Cain and Pauline Volentine, and by her husband of fifty-one years, Lester O. Tuberville. She is survived by two sons, Bill Tuberville and wife, Susan Stalgaitis, of Tellico Village, Tennessee and Robert Tuberville of Little Rock, and by a daughter, Rebecca Clark and husband, Mark, of Bryant. Ruanah is also survived by a grandson, Aaron Clark and wife, Carolyn, of Branson, Missouri and two granddaughters, Carrie Clark, of Branson, Missouri, and Christie Handa and husband Aakash, of Nagpur, India and by three great-grandchildren, Riley, Conner, and Ethan Clark all of Branson, Missouri. Ruanah was a medical receptionist for Dr. E.J. Ritchey, and was a secretary for the Bacon Agency and for the Baptist Bible and Book House. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock for forty years, teaching children's classes well into her eighties. She loved Jesus and people and supported many ministries and missionaries through her church and the Women's Missionary Union. She volunteered in the church library and helped with Chinese Church. She was a leader in Bible Study Fellowship and later attended Community Bible Study. As a young woman, she invited Jesus into her life and said she never felt lonely again. She was well-loved for her thoughtfulness of others and consideration of their needs. She was a friend to anyone who needed a friend and will be missed by many. Service will be conducted by Rev. Rick Jaggers at Immanuel Baptist Church chapel in Little Rock on Tuesday, January 15 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation preceding at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. at Lowe Cemetery in Royal, Arkansas, conducted by Little Rock Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church missions program, 501 N.
